BAR + ALCOHOL TIPS & AMENITIES
We require a ramp-certified bartender to serve all alcohol. We strongly recommend a minimum of 2 bartenders for standard size events. If bartender is not provided by caterer, they must submit proof of Ramp Certification to admin@thecypresshouse.org
On the property, we provide access to the following: 2- 8’ dry bars, 1- 15.7 cubic foot freezer for ice storage (located in stone prep space), 1- side by side refrigerator/ freezer in Pool House and 2 catering size coolers (available upon request)
Glass cannot be served during cocktail hour around the pool. Plastic must be used after dinner time in the reception space.
We strongly encourage the use of kegs, using minimal ice and leaving minimal waste.
Michael’s Beverage out of Allenwood, PA is a great vendor. You can contact them at 570-538-1786 for the purchase of your alcohol. They provide delivery on the day of your event. Contact 3 weeks in advance to your wedding to ensure they have stock in the drink of your choice.
Beer trucks or coolers that hook into our power systems are prohibited.
For a full-service bar, serving beer, wine, and mixed drinks, speak with your bartender about having additional bartending help to ensure they can keep up with the flow of traffic during cocktail hour and reception. We have seen circumstances where guests have had to wait over 30 minutes for a drink during heavy traffic times. We highly recommend that you ensure your Bartenders have enough staff to cover this. A minimum of 2 bartenders per event is encouraged.
Shots are prohibited.
